HACKERS AND CRACKERS

In the digital world, there are people who use their skills for good, but there are also those who use
them for harmful purposes. Let’s explore who hackers and crackers are and how they affect your
online safety.

Hacker

A hacker is someone who uses their computer skills to get into
systems, networks or devices. Some hackers use their skills for
good, like helping companies find and fix problems. These hackers
are called ethical hackers. However, some hackers use their skills

for bad things, like stealing information or causing problems. These
hackers are called cybercriminals.

Types of Hackers

There are different types of hackers, each with different intentions and methods:

White Hat Hackers: These hackers use their skills to help keep things

safe. They work for companies to find problems in their systems and
fix them before bad people can use them.
