Black Hat Hackers: These hackers break into systems to steal
information or cause harm. They might steal passwords, credit card
details or personal files.
Grey Hat Hackers: These hackers are a mix of both. Sometimes, they break into systems
but do it to find problems. They might report the issues, but sometimes they might use the
information for their benefit.
Always turn on your
device’s firewall
to protect against
unwanted access.
Crackers
A cracker is someone who breaks into systems or software with the intention of causing harm.
Crackers usually try to break security codes or remove protection from software. Unlike hackers
who may have good intentions, crackers focus on causing problems. They may steal important
data such as passwords or personal information. Crackers can spread viruses or harmful
software to damage systems. Their actions are illegal and can lead to serious consequences.
