Sleep issues: Constant worry and stress caused by cyberbullying
can disturb a person’s sleep, making it difficult to fall asleep or
stay asleep, leaving them tired, restless and unable to concentrate
properly during the day.
Health problems: The emotional stress from cyberbullying can
lead to physical symptoms such as headaches, stomach aches or
other stress related issues, which can affect overall health.
Mental health risks: Being bullied online for a long time can harm
a person’s mental health. It may cause anxiety, sadness, loneliness
and sometimes harmful thoughts. Therefore, getting help from
parents and teachers is very important.
Risky behaviour: Some victims may react to cyberbullying by
sharing private information, seeking revenge or staying away from
friends and family. This can make them more risky and negatively
affect their personal and social life.
