Social media netiquette: On social media, you should be
respectful towards others and think before posting. Avoid
sharing private information without permission and do not
post hurtful or rude comments.
Chat and messaging netiquette: While chatting online, it
is important to use polite language and respond in a timely
manner. Avoid sending too many messages at once and respect
other people’s time.
Gaming netiquette: In online games, it is important to be fair
and courteous to other players. Avoid using offensive language
or cheating and be supportive when teammates make
mistakes.
Virtual classroom netiquette: In virtual classrooms, students
should listen carefully, participate actively and raise their hand
or use the chat function to ask questions. Being respectful to
teachers and classmates helps create a positive learning
environment.
Forum and discussion netiquette: When participating in
online forums or discussion groups, always stay on topic and
be respectful of others’ opinions. Do not spam the forum with
irrelevant messages and reply thoughtfully to questions or
comments.
