DIGITAL WELLNESS WHEEL
A digital wellness wheel is a visual tool used to assess how technology affects various aspects
of life. It helps identify imbalances and sets intentional goals for cultivating a healthier
relationship with digital devices. The concept adapts the traditional wellness wheel model, which
addresses physical, social and emotional health, to the unique challenges and opportunities of
the digital era.
Different models of the wheel break down digital well-being into interconnected dimensions, which
commonly include:

Using the Digital Wellness Wheel for Better Balance
Using a digital wellness wheel is very simple, you just need to:
Rate each area from 1 to 10 to see how balanced your digital life is.
Observe the wheel. A balanced wheel means you’re doing well and uneven parts show area to
improve.
Focus on one or two areas and set SMART goals (SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable,
Relevant, Time-bound).
Plan simple actions to reach your goals, like reducing screen time, taking breaks or spending
time offline.
