                                           responsibly, and protects you from getting into legal trouble.”




                  Key Sections of the IT Act

                  The sections of the IT Act explain the rules that protect people, businesses and the government in
                  the digital world. The following are the sections of the IT Act:


                   Section                                               Description
                   43                    Using someone else's computer, data, or network without permission, like
                   Misuse Computer       accessing or damaging files, is punishable by a penalty.

                   66                    If someone does anything from Section 43 with harmful or dishonest intent,
