CYBER LAWS AROUND THE WORLD
Cyber laws are not just important in India; they are a global necessity. Different countries have
their own laws to handle cybercrimes and protect their citizens online. Let's take a look at how
some countries deal with cybercrimes:
USA: The USA has strict laws against cyberbullying. Students can even face suspension or
expulsion from school for online harassment.
European Union (EU): The EU has a very strong law called the General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR). This law protects people's privacy, and websites must ask for permission
before collecting personal data.
Singapore: Singapore has tough punishments for hacking and spreading false information
online. They take online security and trust very seriously.
As you can see, cyber laws aim to achieve the same goal everywhere—ensuring safe, respectful,
and fair use of technology.
