Protect personal information: Never share personal details like full name, address, phone
number, school name, passwords, or bank information online. This prevents identity theft,
fraud, and misuse of data.
Use strong and secure passwords: A strong password includes letters, numbers, and symbols. We
must also change passwords regularly and never share them with anyone except trusted adults.
Be respectful and polite online: We must behave the same way online as we do in real life.
This means:
No rude comments No teasing or bullying
No spreading rumours No posting hurtful messages
Think before you post: Anything posted online stays there forever, even if deleted. So, we
should think carefully before sharing photos, videos, personal opinions and private messages.
Once shared, others can save or misuse that information.
Avoid cyberbullying: Cyberbullying includes sending hurtful messages, spreading lies, or
posting embarrassing photos.
Our responsibility is to:
Never bully others online
Report bullying to a trusted adult
Support people who are being bullied
Use technology for learning and growth: Technology should be used to explore knowledge,
develop skills, and enhance creativity. It should not be used for cheating, wasting time, or
harmful activities.
