Rumours: Unverified information spread online that may be false or misleading.
Digital citizenship is the safe, responsible, ethical, and respectful use of digital devices and the
Internet.
Digital rights are the rights that every person has while using the Internet and digital
technologies.
Digital Responsibilities are the duties and correct behaviours that every user must follow when
they use the Internet, computers, apps, or any digital device.
Digital respect refers to the way individuals treat others online, respecting their opinions,
privacy, and overall presence in the digital space.
A digital footprint refers to the trail of data left behind when an individual interacts with the
Internet or uses digital devices.
A positive digital footprint is created when creative projects or achievements are shared
online, or when engagement takes place by liking others’ posts.
A negative digital footprint results from unfavourable online behaviour or content that may
harm a person’s reputation.
FOMO is the feeling of worry or anxiety that happens when someone thinks they are missing
something exciting, important, or fun that other people are doing.
