Cutting a Video Segment
Cutting a video segment means selecting the unwanted section and removing it.
Follow these steps to delete a video segment:

Step 1 Select the video segment you want to delete from the timeline at the bottom of the editor.
Step 2 Click the Delete page button from the Video toolbar.

To split a shorter part of the video, split the video twice and delete the section.

Trimming a Video
Trimming a video means cutting unnecessary parts from the start or end of the clip, keeping only the section
you want.
Follow these steps to trim a video segment:

Step 1 Click on the video you want to edit in the Canvas.
Step 2 Click on Trim button from the Floating toolbar.

Drag the purple handles (also called trim handles) at the ends of the highlighted part to
Step 3 shorten the video. The left handle trims the beginning, and the right handle trims the end.
For this example, you will use the right handle to trim the end.
Step 4 Click on the Done button to save your changes.
