Your video is now shorter, keeping only the part you need.
Below is a comparison between the three actions in terms of their functions:
Action Description
Trimming Cuts off unwanted parts from the start or end of the clip, keeping the middle section
intact. Like cropping the edges of a photo.
Deleting/Cutting Deletes a selected part of the video entirely, leaving the remaining sections
connected. Useful for cutting out mistakes or unwanted scenes.
Splitting Divides the video into two or more separate clips at a chosen point. Each part can
then be edited or removed independently. Ideal for rearranging or isolating sections.
Adding a Transition
You can add transitions to make the flow of the video smoother.
Follow these steps to add a transition between clips:
Step 1 Select the video clip on the timeline where you want the transition.
Step 2 Hover the cursor between two video clips and click the Add transition button.
Select a transition from Transitions section on the side panel. Here, you will click on Flow
Step 3 transition.
Once you select a transition, you'll see additional options such as duration and direction.
Step 4 Adjust the duration using Duration (seconds) slider.
Step 5 Click on the Direction buttons to change the direction.
Step 6 Click on the Close button in side panel.
