C ommunication—An Introduction
Communication is the ‘sharing’ of information between two or more people or within a group to achieve
a common understanding. The word ‘communication’ comes from the Latin word ‘communicare’, which
means to share. The ability to clearly communicate and share thoughts, feelings and ideas will help you in all
your dealings with others. Speaking more than one language can help you communicate well with people
around the world.
