5. Choose a style, such as 2D Pie Chart.
6. The pie chart will appear in your worksheet.
7. Customise the chart by:
l Adding labels: Click the chart, go to Chart Design, and select Add Data Labels.
l Adding a legend: Click Add Chart Element → Legend → Right.
Line Chart
Purpose: A line chart shows trends (change) over time.
Example Data:
Month Sale of Cars
January 500
February 600
March 800
April 750
Steps to Create a Line Chart
1. Open Excel and enter the data as shown
above.
2. Select the data (Month and Sale of Cars).
3. Go to the Insert tab on the ribbon.
4. In the Charts group, click on the Line Chart
icon.
5. Choose Line with Markers.
