M ethods of Communication
There are different methods of communication—Verbal, Non-verbal and Visual communication. Let us
understand each one.
Verbal Communication
Verbal communication is the exchange of information using
words. This is what most people use as a communication
method. Verbal communication is important. If you don't use
the right words, you'll be confused and you won't be able to
convey your message. The types of verbal communication are:
Oral or Spoken Communication: This type of communication
takes place during face-to-face conversations, group
discussions, telephone calls, and any other circumstances
where spoken words are used to communicate your
thoughts, present ideas and share information.
Written Communication: It refers to the process of conveying your message through written language.
