Advantages of Non-verbal Communication
Some of the advantages of non-verbal communication are:
Non-verbal communication makes our message stronger.
Proper gestures and postures help us work professionally.
You can make your message more effective by using the correct gestures when speaking.
Knowledge of non-verbal communication helps us understand the reaction of our audience and adapt
our behaviour and communication accordingly.
If the verbal message is blocked by noise, distance, etc., you can use the hand gesture to exchange the
message.
Disadvantages of Non-verbal Communication
Some of the disadvantages of non-verbal communication are:
Lack of formality
Culture oriented
No explanation of messages
Ambiguity
Long conversations are not possible
