Snakes and Ladders Was a Moral Game: Originally called Moksha Patam, this game was created to
                          teach children about morality, where the ladders represented virtues and the snakes symbolized vices.
                         It was designed to emphasize spiritual lessons rather than mere
                          entertainment. It was also called Gyan Chaupar, Mokshapat, or
                                              Moksha Patamu.
                           Mallakhamb Is Recognized Internationally: Mallakhamb, a
                          traditional Indian sport combining gymnastics and yoga on a
                          pole, is now practiced worldwide. It is often referred to as the
                         “mother of all sports” due to its demanding physical and mental
                                                coordination.

                 Now that we have studied games, let us delve into the world of toys. Recall your first doll or toy train. What fun

                 Toys play an important role in a child’s development and provide more than just enjoyment. They promote
                 learning, creativity, and social engagement while addressing unique developmental needs. Indian toys are
                 deeply rooted  in cultural symbolism  and craftsmanship. They cater to sensory, cognitive, and social
                 development. Here are a few examples:



                 l  Channapatna Toys: Crafted in Karnataka, these wooden toys
                    are  known for  their  bright colors  and eco-friendly  designs.
                    They often  take the form  of animals, vehicles, and simple
                    puzzles.
