improve physical abilities. Each variety has a distinct purpose, helping in the learner’s overall development in
interesting and exciting ways. Here, we look at the various types of toys and their significance.
Sensory Toys
Sensory toys are designed to stimulate and develop a child’s five senses—sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell.
These toys help children explore the world using their senses, which is an important part of learning and brain
development. They are especially helpful for young children and those with special needs, as they support
better focus, attention, and emotional growth.Sensory toys are not just fun—they help children understand
how things feel, sound, and move. They also improve hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and imagination.
