Activity 1

Chand Baori is a lovely stepwell in Abhaneri, a small town about 55 miles from Jaipur, Rajasthan. This landmark,
considered one of the most outstanding instances of historical architecture, symbolizes one of the most scenic
wells in the country, with 3500 steps divided by stairways that connect 13 floors in perfect symmetry for nearly
30 meters below ground level.

Study the unique geometrical layout design of Chand Baori and present your data through a presentation in
PowerPoint/Canva.

Activity 2
Students will create a short film inspired by the life of a banyan tree, showcasing its role in fostering community,
ecology, and sustainability. This project will emphasize the importance of trees in Indian culture and align with
sustainable development goals like “Life on Land” and “Climate Action.”
