Activity 6
Create a simple and visually appealing weather app interface that provides users with daily weather updates
and alerts in an easy-to-understand format.
                 Steps for the Task:
                 1. Understand the Problem:

l Think about what information users need from a weather app, such as temperature, rain alerts, and
forecasts, and why simplicity is important.
                 2. Plan the Features:

                    l Include basic features like:
° Current temperature and weather conditions.
° A daily and weekly forecast.
° Simple icons for sunny, rainy, or cloudy weather.
° Optional alerts for extreme weather (e.g., heavy rain or heatwaves).
                 3. Create User Profiles:
l Imagine different types of users (e.g., students, farmers, travelers) and their needs from a weather
                        app.
                 4. Sketch the App:
l Draw simple designs for (Students can use Canva/PPT):
° A home screen showing the current temperature and weather.
° A page with the weekly forecast.
° An alert screen for extreme weather.
                 5. Make a Prototype:

l Use paper or tools like Canva/PPT to create a rough mock-up of the app.
                 6. Test and Improve:
l Show your design to classmates or family members and ask if they find it clear and helpful.
l Make adjustments based on their feedback.
                 7. Present Your Work:

l Share your app design and explain how it makes weather information easy for everyone to understand.
                 Example Features:
l A large, clear display of current temperature.
l Simple weather icons (e.g., sun for sunny, cloud for cloudy).
l A weekly forecast in an easy-to-read table.

                 Activity 7

Design a board game that educates players about sustainability while making learning fun.
                 Steps:
l Choose a Theme: Focus on an SDG like Climate Action or Zero Hunger.

l Game Concept: Players move around the board, completing tasks like planting trees, reducing carbon
                    footprints, or managing resources.

l Elements: Use recycled materials for the board and tokens. Include action cards like “Reduce Food
Waste: Move Ahead 3 Spaces” or “Litter the Environment: Go Back 2 Spaces.”
l Goal: The winner is the first to create a sustainable, eco-friendly environment.

                                                                                                       Practical
                                                                                                                     253
