The final solutions could be any of these:
l Poster campaign to create awareness
l An illustrated storybook or a short video on the subject to create awareness
l A simple card or board game to create interest in SDGs
l Information Design for the SDGs to make it easily understandable
l An animated short clip – (could be a music video with animated sketches)
Students can follow these steps:
¸ observation,
¸ primary research to understand user needs,
¸ secondary research analysis to comprehend the problem space,
¸ analysis of this data,
¸ brainstorming for innovative solutions,
¸ mock-up prototyping,
¸ feedback gathering, and finally
¸ compiling and presenting the project.
Example of the Task:
Chosen SDG Goal: Zero Hunger
Proposed Solution:
Create an animated short clip titled “A Plate for Everyone” that highlights the importance of reducing food
waste and ensuring food security. The clip would include:
l A storyline following a day in the life of a farmer, a food distributor, and a family, showing how food travels
from farm to table.
l Illustrations of problems like food wastage and hunger, with simple, impactful messages like, “Every grain
matters” or “Share to care.”
l Practical tips on reducing food waste, such as meal planning, donating excess food, and composting
leftovers.
l A hopeful ending, showcasing a community where everyone has access to nutritious food.
This animated clip could be shared on social media, school events, or awareness campaigns to educate and
inspire collective action to achieve Zero Hunger.
