Practicing Assertive Communication
Assertiveness means effective communication. It's not just about using the right words; it's about making
sure your body language conveys the right message. The central part of assertiveness is positive thinking. A
self-confident person who believes in himself uses positive language, seeks positive results and respects the
opinions of others. The following are tips you can use to increase your self-esteem and improve the image you
are portraying and the language you use.

The various words that we use in sentences are parts of speech. Let us look at the different parts of speech.
