● Print: Give command to print the document on paper, as per the printer attached to your computer. You
can print the document by pressing the Ctrl + P keys.
F ormatting Text
Text formatting means changing the appearance of text. Different parts of the text may appear in different
styles and sizes. You can bold, underline, or highlight the text to make it visually appealing. Let us understand
how to format the text in your document:
Font Style and Size
1. Select the text.
2. Click on the drop-down menu on the formatting
toolbar and select the font style and size as per
your requirement.
Bold/Italic/Underline
1. Select the text.
2. Click on bold/italic/underline to change the Italic
appearance of the text.
Keyboard shortcuts: Bold
Bold – Ctrl + B
Underline
Italic – Ctrl + I
Underline – Ctrl + U
Alignment
1. Select the text.
2. Click on the alignment you want—left/right/
center/justify to align the text.
By default, the text is left-aligned.
Cut/Copy and Paste
Use the icons on the standard toolbar to cut/copy
and paste text. Cut Paste
Keyboard shortcuts:
Cut – Ctrl + X
Copy – Ctrl + C Copy
Paste – Ctrl + V
