Design Your Sensory Personal Space - Reflect on how sensory experiences shape personal Lab Activity
comfort and creativity.
1. Imagine you are designing your own personal space — it could be a reading nook, a study
room, a meditation area, or even a small corner in your home.
2. Think about each sense:
• Sight: What colours, lighting, or decorations would you use?
• Sound: What sounds or music would you like to hear in that space?
• Touch: What textures would you want to feel when you sit or walk around?
• Smell: What scent would make you feel relaxed, happy, or refreshed?
• Taste: Would you add a small element like a tea corner or snack basket?
3. Draw a Sketch or Write a Short Description
(You can either sketch your dream sensory space or write a paragraph describing how each sense will be used.)
Lastly, answer these questions:
• Which sense was most important to you while designing your space?
• How do you think your designed space would make you feel after a long tiring day?
