Advantages of Presentation Software
Presentation software is widely used to create digital presentations. It has numerous benefits as follows:
• A presentation can be made interesting by including images, videos, animation, and music.

• It is easy to make changes to digital presentations.
• By projecting on a screen, a digital presentation can be shown to a much larger audience.

• The presentation can also be printed and distributed to the audience.
Inserting a New Slide
The steps to insert a new slide in a presentation are as follows:
Step 1 Select the New Slide option from the Slide menu in the Menu bar.

OR
Right-click on the slide in the
Slides pane and then select
the New Slide option from the
context menu.
OR

Right-click in an empty area
in the Slides pane and select
the New Slide option from the
context menu.
OR
Click on the New Slide (
) button in the Presentation
toolbar.
OR
Press the Ctrl + M shortcut key
from the keyboard.
New slide will be inserted just after the active slide.
