A statement of assertion (A) is followed by a statement of reason (R). Choose the correct option from the
choices given below for each question:
(a) Both A and R are true and R is the correct explanation of A.
(b) Both A and R are true but R is not the correct explanation of A.
(c) A is true but R is false.
(d) A is false but R is true.
1. Assertion (A): 6 × 5 = 30. So, 30 is a multiple of 5 and 6.
Reason(R): If ‘a’ is a factor of ‘c’, then ‘c’ is called a multiple of ‘a’.
