A non-government organisation (NGO) organised a fundraising event to raise funds for poor children. They
sold tickets to collect money. The tickets were priced at `590 each. They managed to sell a total of 1230 tickets.
Out of the total amount collected; `25,700 was spent on organising the event and the remaining amount was
donated as charity to the poor children.
Based on this case, answer the following questions:
1. What is the total amount collected from ticket sales?
2. Calculate the amount donated to the charity for poor children.
3. If the charity received `75,000 in `100 denominations and the rest in `500 denominations, how
many `500 notes were donated to the charity?
4. Estimate the total amount received by rounding off to the nearest hundreds.
5. How much more or less is the estimated amount from the actual amount received?
