Objective: Help students build speed and accuracy with basic
                multiplication facts through timed practice.
Material Required: Two standard six-sided dice per student (or per pair of students),
timer or stopwatch (set to 15 seconds), scorecard template, pencil for each student

                Procedure:
Š Give each student a scorecard and a pencil.

Š explain that they will play 10 rounds, rolling two dice each round, multiplying the
numbers mentally, and answering within 15 seconds.

                      Š Rounds 1–10:
                       • Student shakes and rolls both dice on the desk.
                       • As soon as the dice stop, the 15-second timer starts.
                       • Student mentally multiplies die 1 × die 2 and calls out the product before the

                         time expires.
                       • Teacher (or a partner) marks a tick if the answer is correct and on time, a cross
                         if incorrect or over time.

                       • Student records the dice values and result in that round’s row.
Scoring: each correct, on-time answer earns 1 point. No points for incorrect answers or
                answers after 15 seconds.
After 10 rounds, students total their points at the bottom of the scorecard.
