Comparing LEngTHs
When we want to compare the lengths of two objects, we We use the words ‘tall’,
can place them side by side. ‘short’, heavy, light, etc. to
measure something.
Let us compare the lengths of a toothpick and a toothbrush.
We see that the toothbrush is longer than the toothpick or the toothpick is shorter
than the toothbrush.
Now, compare the lengths of a crayon, a pencil and an eraser.
We can clearly see that the pencil is the longest and the eraser is the shortest among
the three items.
