Objective: To reinforce the skill of sorting out data and drawing logical conclusions.
Materials Required: Notebook and pencil
Procedure:
The students will play the game – ‘Name a Person, Place, Thing and an Animal’.
The teacher will announce a particular letter of the english alphabet.
Within the limited predefined time frame (1 min), the students will write the
name of a person, a place, a thing and an animal starting with that particular
letter.
The teacher will then ask the students their answers and tabulate the most
common name of a person, place, thing and an animal that begins with the
particular letter.

Aruna has collected a number of buttons from old
clothes. She wants to sort these buttons. Help her
sort them by making groups.
Why did you make such groups?
Can you group these buttons in different ways? How?
