               Objective: To revise the concept of addition in a play way method.

               Materials Required: Game board, a pair of dice and two coloured pencils/crayons
               Procedure:

                     Š Play the game with your friend.

                     Š Roll a pair of dice.

                     Š Now your friend will add up the numbers that appear.
                     Š Colour the box on the game board with the same number as the sum of the

                      dots on the dice.
                     Š Now your friend will roll a pair of dice, and you will add the sum and colour

                      a box with the same number.

                     Š One can lose their turn if a number is already coloured on the game board.
                     Š After colouring all the boxes, count the number of boxes you have coloured.

                     Š The player with more coloured boxes will be the winner.

                1.  Write ‘T’ for true or ‘F’ for false for the following statements.

                      (a)  When we add 0 to a number, the sum is the number itself.

                      (b)  When we add 1 to a number, the sum is always 1.

                      (c)  When a number is added to itself, the sum is always zero.
                2.  Make two addition sentences with 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8. Use each number only once.
