Endy bought 5 gift packs of shirts and each pack had

3 shirts in it. Angel bought 3 gift packs of T-shirts
and each pack had 5 T-shirts in it. Their mother

asked them how many clothes they bought in all.

                                     endy Angel

                I bought 5 packs (groups) of 3 shirts each. I bought 3 packs (groups) of 5 T-shirts

So, I bought each. So, I bought

                              5 × 3 = 15 shirts 3 × 5 = 15 T-shirts

The product of two numbers remains the same even if we change the order of

                 the numbers to be multiplied.
