Division of a number by 1
Put 10 bindis on 1 strip. Put 8 bindis on 1 strip.
10 ÷ 1 = 10 8 ÷ 1 = 8
Any number when divided by 1 gives the quotient as the number itself.
Division of 0 by any number
Put 0 bindis on 2 strips. Put 0 bindis on 3 strips.
0 ÷ 2 = 0 0 ÷ 3 = 0
0 divided by any number except 0 gives the quotient as 0.
