In this pattern, vertical and horizontal arrows come alternately by changing their

directions and one arrow is added at each step. This is an example of analogical

pattern.

Pattern in numbers

Look at the patterns in the numbers given below.

2 is added every time to find the next number in the pattern.

2. 5 9 13 17 21 25 29 ...

Each next number is obtained by adding 4 to the previous number.

3. 100 90 80 70 60 50 ...

10 is subtracted every time to find the next number in the pattern.
