Metre
It is very time-consuming if we measure the length of the wall using cm. So, we use
a metre to measure longer lengths. In short, we write metre as m.
If we put 10 strips each of 10 cm length together, we make one metre.
10 cm 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm 10 cm
So, 10 × 10 cm, that is, 100 cm = 1 m or 1 m = 100 cm.
