Objective: To estimate the length, weight and capacity and compare.
Materials Required:
For length: A paintbrush, water bottle or other things
For weight: A toothpaste tube, soap or other things on which weights are mentioned
For capacity: A soft-drink bottle/can, a juice pack or other things on which capacity
is mentioned
Procedure:
The students will perform the activity in pairs.
Keep all the material on the table as objects for length, weight, and capacity.
Show any one object, like a paintbrush, and ask its estimated length.
Pairs who give the correct estimate of the length will be given a point. They
will come forward and measure the actual length of the object.
Do the same for weight and capacity as well.
In the end, pairs with the maximum points will be the winner(s).

1 1 1
(d) kg = ___ g (e) L = ___ mL (f) L = ___ mL
2 4 2
2. Name any container having a capacity of more than 1 L.
