Objective: To understand the concept of months.

Materials Required: Chart paper, coloured pencils.
               Procedure:

Š Make groups of 4 students.

Š Ask all the members of each group to write their birthdays and the birthdays
of their parents on a sheet of paper.

Š Now call out the name of any month and ask the groups to check how many
birthdays written by them fall in that month.

Š The group with the maximum birthdays in that month wins a point.

Š Continue the activity for the other months as well.

Š Prepare a chart with the birthdays of all the students in the class.

Š Ask them if they celebrate any festival in their birthday months.
