              Predecessor and Successor

              Three neighbourhood friends David, Rohan and Bharti are going home after school.

              Their homes are near the school.

              david  :  My house number is 364. What are your house numbers Rohan and
                          Bharti?

              rohan :  My house is next to your house. So, my house number is 365.
              Bharti  :  My house is just before your house. So, my house number is 363.

              david  :  That means my house is between your houses. Bharti’s house is before

                          my house and Rohan’s house is after my house.
              •  Predecessor of a number means a number which is 1 less than the given number.

                  It is just before the given number. For example, 364 – 1 = 363

              •  Successor of a number means a number
