Gamified Learning Experiential Learning Holistic Skills
Objective: To form different shapes by joining the pieces of a tangram
Materials Required: Card paper, scale, pencil, a pair of scissors
Procedure:
Take a piece of card paper and cut a square of size 8 cm by 8 cm from
it.
Draw three horizontal and three vertical lines on it at equal gaps
using a pencil and ruler, so that the big square is divided into 16 small
squares.
Draw one complete diagonal and one incomplete diagonal of a big
square, as shown here. Then, draw one square and one triangle using
these diagonals (red lines).
Cut the big square into 7 pieces (tans), as shown below. You can use

Arrange these pieces of the tangram to form different shapes.
For example,
Horse Rabbit Cat
Each group will make their own shapes using the tangram pieces. The group with
the most number of shapes, wins.
