               Objective: To record and represent the data using a pictograph

               Materials required: Pencil and a paper
               Procedure:

                     Š Divide the class into pairs.

                     Š Each pair will ask other students in the class about their favourite fruit/sweet/

                      colour/game/story/means of transport, etc.
                     Š Record this information using tally marks.

               Record Table (for example):

                     Š Next, each pair will represent the collected information using a pictograph.
                     Š Each pair will also find the answer to the following questions using their own

                      pictograph.
                     1.  Which is the most popular means of transport used by the children?
