Gamified Learning Creative Thinking Experiential Learning

Objective: To reinforce the concept of symmetry.
Materials required: Thick sheet of paper, a pair of scissors, sketch pens

Procedure:

Divide the class into pairs of students and instruct them to follow the instructions
as given below.

Š Take a piece of paper and fold it in half.

Š Draw a curve forming a part of a leaf.

Š Cut the folded paper along the curved line you have drawn.

Š Again cut the given shapes along the boundary of the leaf.

Š Unfold the paper you have cut out.

You will find that you have made a leaf. Make a frill using a pattern of such leaves and

decorate your classroom. Pairs with the correct symmetrical design will get a point.
