Solution: Total weight of three friends = 108 kg

                                             Rohan’s weight = 37 kg 250 g
                                             Rehan’s weight = 38 kg 550 g

                       Total weight of Rohan and Rehan = 37 kg 250 g + 38 kg 550 g = 75 kg 800 g

                                          So, Vivan’s weight = 108 kg – 75 kg 800 g = 32 kg 200 g
                        Thus, Vivan’s weight is 32 kg 200 g.

                      Challenge Question Critical Thinking
You have a balance scale. On one side, you place 2 kg 450 g of apples. On the other
side, you place a block of cheese that weighs 1 kg 800 g and some grapes. The scale is perfectly
balanced. Can you figure out how much the grapes weigh? Now, if you eat 250 g of grapes,
how much more (in kilograms and grams) do you need to add to make the scale balance again?

                2. Add the following measurements of weight.

                    (a) 38 kg 946 g and 22 kg 665 g

                    (b) 26 kg 430 g 400 mg and 27 kg 570 g 600 mg

                    (d) 360 kg 870 mg and 140 g 550 mg
                3. Subtract the following measurements of weight.

                  (a) 54 kg 20 g from 56 kg 36 g

                  (b) 580 kg 90 g 450 mg from and 620 kg 756 g 80 mg
                  (c) 18 kg 28 g 389 mg from 25 kg 40 g 90 mg

                  (d) 110 kg 67 g 860 mg from 350 kg 44 g 275 mg
