              Understanding decimals

              Maya  has  a  chocolate.  She  wants  to  share  it  with  her  friends.  So,  she
              divides  the  chocolate  into  10  equal  pieces,  and  gives  5  pieces  to  Riya

              and 3 pieces to Siya.

              Using fractions, we can say that Riya got      10  and Siya got   10  of the chocolate.
              We can represent the fractions as:
