Gamified Learning Holistic Skills

objective: To make nets of cubes and cuboids using different objects.
Materials Required: Empty chalk box, sweet box, shoe box, pastry box, etc., pen/pencil,
scissors, cardboard, white chart paper, pens, sticking tape, glue.

Procedure:
Make groups and give the following instructions:

Š Take a cardboard of a convenient size and paste white chart paper on it.
Š Open the folds of a box (say, a pastry box) and flatten it out.

Š Put it on the cardboard and draw its boundary as well as lines along the folds as
shown below:

Š The shape obtained is a net of a cube (pastry box).
Š If it is folded along the dotted lines, a cube (box) is obtained.

Š Similarly, you can obtain a net of a cuboid.
