Objective: To reiterate the concept of forming numbers with repetition.
Materials Required: Number cards of digits 0 to 9

               Procedure:
Š Divide the class into teams of four.

Š Spread a set of well-shuffled number cards face down on the table.

                                                               9 7 3 0 4
                                                         6 8 3 74 5

Š Any two teams (Team A and Team B) will be called at a time.

Š The members of Team A will step forward and pick any four cards (each member
                      picks one card).
Š Ask them to form the smallest and greatest 7- and 8-digit numbers using those
                      number cards.

Š Ask a set of questions to Team B related to the successor and predecessor of the
numbers formed, comparing and ordering numbers, etc.
Š Now, it will be the turn of the members of Team B to pick any four number cards
to form the smallest and greatest 7- and 8-digit numbers and Team A to answer a
                      set of questions.

Š The teams will be awarded a point for each correct answer.
Š The team that scores more points will be declared the winner.

Š The activity shall continue with other teams as long as time permits.
