Materials Required: Play-money (coins and notes) of different

denominations, a sheet of paper and a pencil

              Procedure:

Š The teacher places the play-money, paper sheet and pencil on the table.

Š The pair repeats the same for different amounts called by the teacher.
Š They also record the activity on a sheet of paper.

                       Amount Different Ways of making

                                    `20 + `10 + `5
                          `35
                                    `10 + `10 + `10 + `2 + `2 + `1
