              FoRMING 2-dIGIT NUMBERS

How many 2-digit numbers can be formed using the digits 4 and 7?

There are two ways to make 2-digit numbers using the given digits.
l With repeating the digits: 44 and 77

l Without repeating the digits: 47 and 74

Thus, there are four 2-digit numbers that can be made using the digits 4 and 7.

Example: Build the 2-digit number using the digits 6 and 9 without repetition.

Solution: Step 1: Start with the digit 6: 69
Step 2: Start with the digit 9: 96
