touch and tell. Who am I?
Place different wooden solid shapes or objects with variation in
faces, corners and edges. Blindfold a child and ask them to pick
an object as per the details given by other children.

For example, a student may be asked to take out an object with
               one corner.
Similarly, continue with other objects with another student.

              1. Look at your surroundings and name:

                   (a) one cubical object. _______ (b) one spherical object. _______

                   (c) one cylindrical object. _______ (d) one cuboidal object. _______

              2. How many faces, vertices and edges do these solid shape have?

We identify whether a solid can stalk,
roll or slide, by observing its faces or
              surfaces. That means stalking, rolling

or sliding of objects depends upon the
              nature of their surfaces.

Let us try to make a stalk of cubical

              blocks as well as balls.
