FaCe Value aND PlaCe Value
The face value of a digit is the value of the digit itself.
The place value of a digit in a number is the value of the digit by virtue of its place.
It is obtained by finding the product of the face value of the digit and the value of its
corresponding place in the number.
example: In number 2176.
