Objective: To find out the dimensions of different rectangles having the same area.
Materials Required: Square grid papers of 10 × 10 having each unit square 1 cm × 1 cm,

                                      a pencil
              Procedure:

                  Š Get into the pairs.
Š Discuss with your partner that how many rectangles of different dimensions are possible
                  with same area.
Š Partner 1 will work on rectangle of area 24 sq. cm and Partner 2 will work on rectangle

                  of area 12 sq. cm.
Š Each partner will draw outlines of all possible rectangles on his/her respective square
                  grid paper.

Š Label the rectangles with their lengths and breadth and name them as Rectangle 1, 2
                  and so on.
Š Also, find their respective perimeters and note down the same under each rectangle.
