Learning by Doing
Objective: To understand the spatial relationship.
Materials Required: Notebooks, register, chalk, duster, marker and
cupboards
Procedure:
The teacher places the items
on the table.
She/he will invite the class in
small groups and tell them
to arrange the things in the
cupboard.
She/he will instruct them to put a duster on the top, a chalk at the bottom
and a marker in the middle.
Also she/he can use other spatial vocabulary such as above-below, near-far,
inside-outside, etc. for giving instructions and observe the students working.
Assist them if they require.
Repeat the activity with other groups.
She/he may also keep some decoration materials and ask the students to fix
them on the bulletin board.
